House of the Lombardi: Rushing Up That Hill
For week 12 of the 2023 NFL season, we saw NFL action on three unique days over Thanksgiving Day weekend. The Green Bay Packers may have resurrected their season and playoff hopes in their win over the Detroit Lions. As for the Lions, are they not ready for Super Bowl stardom? For the Cowboys they won a major divisional round game in their game against the Washington Commander as they try to keep pace with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Conference. The Seattle Seahawks lost to the 49ers as their season begins to spiral. The New York Jets lost to the Dolphins in the leagues very first Black Friday game. The Jaguars won against the Houston Texans and they may have also secured the AFC South. For the Panthers, the lost again and in the process fired their head coach Frank Reich. Was firing Frank Reich the right move? The Raiders lost against Kansas City as they transition to a new culture. Denver won their fifth game in a row and just like the Packers, the Broncos may have saved their season as well. The Ravens won a close Sunday night game against the LA Chargers as they also regained their lead in the AFC Conference. Yet, can the Ravens hold their lead in the AFC Conference?
